Paul Emery - CEO: Strategic Direction, Financing & Commercial Relationships: Paul has extensive international management experience which includes an overseas assignments in Santiago, Chile and Singapore. He has held direct executive responsibility for operating entities throughout Western Europe where he served as Europe General Manager (England, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Sweden and Norway), SE Asia (China, Japan, and Singapore), Latin America (Chile, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela and Mexico) and Australia. In Chile, he re-started a closed automotive manufacturing operation, obtained favorable government treatment to achieve profitability and built anew factory. In Singapore, he turned around a failed organization that had been unable to achieve profitability since inception. In China, he launched an aggressive sales and marketing campaign and received local and national attention from business and government leaders. In Europe, Paul has started subsidiaries, developed pan-European pricing methodologies for international tax minimization, successfully launched local marketing campaigns, and he has shut down unprofitable operations, with the support of local government authorities. Paul's extensive executive management experience includes growing companies, successfully turning around unprofitable companies who had been unable to regain profitability, taking companies through 100% + annual growth, taking a company public, and launching several start-up operations-including his own comprehensive rehabilitation clinic. Paul has orchestrated numerous mergers, acquisitions and a successful divestiture. He has raised hundreds of millions of dollars in dozens of common, preferred, hybrid, debt, leasing and other financial transactions for both public and private companies. A recognized team builder, Mr. Emery has a strong following among his former teams. Many have followed him to several successive companies. He is a win-win negotiator, lauded for his success in achieving early negotiations agreements. Currently he is working with three start-up technology firms to reach critical mass, viability and successful exit.
Jaime Castro - Vice President of U.S. Government Relations and Deployment: Jaime's Latin American background and management expertise serve him well to lead PEG's business, public and government relations. Jaime's mother was in Foreign Service, stationed in Washington D.C and later in El Salvador. Several relatives were past Presidents of Panama. Jaime's grandfather was a supreme court justice in El Salvador and served as Ambassador for more than thirty years and he is lauded by many for his efforts assisting in founding the United Nations and the Organization of American States (OAS). Jaime's extensive business background includes over three years on site in Mexico City for his global insurance company employer. Jaime launched two teams to handle the surety bond operations and property casualty operations for two acquired companies. In this role, Mr. Castro dealt with due diligence issues and reduced the company's financial exposure from $88M to less than $10M in less than three years. He has also consulted for other S&P 500 Companies. Since 1997, Jaime has been involved in growing an office interiors company sales and operations where he serves as Vice President. His responsibilities have included developing strategic plans, creating and implementing systems and procedures necessary to support sales growth, and the development of targeted marketing programs for early identification of target prospects. He also has launched a fine arts firm, a small business consulting firm and he is bi-lingual and does counseling for a non- profit organization dedicated to the education of Hispanic women, teaching them to become successful entrepreneurs.
Jay Manning - Vice President of Sales and Business Development: Jay brings extensive Europe and Middle East markets expertise and focus to the Project Edge Group (PEG). Jay has lived in Europe for more than ten years and has developed numerous capital equipment relationships across the continent. There he has established new entities in The Netherlands, Ireland, U.S., France, Germany, and Israel. With Cymer Europe, a semiconductor capital equipment corporation, he drove Europe sales from $3M to $140M+ in less than four years. Most recently, as Sales and Business Development Head for Verigy, a memory tester company, Jay was responsible for directing and driving all business development activities for the U.S., Europe and Taiwan. In this role he directed business development programs that resulted in winning the business of the largest Europe memory manufacturer. Jay brings a wealth of sales, business development and project management experience, particularly in Western Europe, to PEG.

Lars Johansson - Senior Counsel: Lars is senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm's Private Equity & Venture Capital, Transactional & Securities, and International Practices. He is also a member of the Emerging Technologies and Energy Industry Teams. Lars is a business lawyer with extensive experience in corporate finance, securities law, mergers &acquisitions, and international business transactions. He works actively with entrepreneurs and investors, and counsel's directors and officers on fiduciary duties, strategic issues and general corporate matters. His recent transactions include company counsel in $12M Series B financing, investor counsel in$5M Series A financing, company counsel in $85M private equity buy-out transaction and company counsel in $15M joint venture.
Luis Aguirre-Torres - President and CEO, GreenMomentum Inc. Since March 2008, Dr. Luis Aguirre-Torres has served as President and CEO of GreenMomentum Inc., a cleantech market intelligence firm focused on promoting and accelerating the introduction and implementation of clean technology in Latin America. He has led GreenMomentum's expansion to four different countries in the region and engineered the creation and spin-off of the non-profit organization Impulso Verde (2009), where he serves as chairman of the board of directors and leads the non-profit’s efforts to promote the creation of green-collar jobs in Mexico. He is currently president of the green business accelerator Cleantech Challenge Mexico, the second GreenMomentum spin-off company in as many years. He serves on the board of directors at Luminnova, an energy-efficient street level and industrial lighting systems company based in Mexico. Dr. Aguirre-Torres holds a first degree in Computer Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, an MSc degree in Computer Science and a doctorate in Electronic Engineering from the University of London. Dr. Aguirre-Torres' addition to PEG's Advisory Board brings a wealth of renewable energy expertise and experience to PEG as he is a leader in the green technology sector. Dr. Aguirre-Torres' many Latin America contacts add even greater depth to PEG's clean technology focus for the region.
John Fratangelo - Vice-President: Products & Technology: John brings 15-plus years' combined experience within the technology, financial services and market research industries. As Principal Consultant at Clear Sight Associates, his unique expertise covers broad and deep dive experience in consulting, management, and analyst roles within project financing, and global strategic planning, business development, marketing, and market research and competitive intelligence. Prior to starting Clear Sight Associates, John worked in Competitive Intelligence and Corporate Strategy roles at Applied Materials, the leading global capital equipment supplier to the semiconductor, display and solar industries Group. He also co-founded and was Vice President of Venture Surf, Inc, a private equity firm and Internet community with international reach that facilitated screening, matching, and secure introductions among a member network of technology start-ups, accredited investors and business service providers. Earlier in his career, John worked in marketing and business development roles at NEC and Oracle, and in analyst and project management roles at technology market research leaders Gartner Group and Market Intelligence Research Corporation (now Frost & Sullivan).
Dyana Pari Nafissi- Director of Business Development: Dyana is currently runs business development for the Bay Area regional accounting firm Sensiba San Filippo. She recently returned to the Bay Area after three years in Mexico City while attaining her Masters in Business Administration degree in International Business & Global Management from both Thunderbird School of International Management and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). During her tenure in Mexico, Dyana became well-connected in the Mexico financial community by leveraging her fourteen years experience in financial sales, internet marketing and global business development, as well as board positions with organizations such at The American Society of Mexico. She is experienced with both public and start-up companies as well as infrastructure and economic development projects (roads, airports, bridges, housing) and is a specialist in creating sustainable growth models. Dyana is multi-lingual with superior cross-cultural, cross-border, and cross-discipline skills. Her specialties include global private capital structures, in particular for Latin American and Middle East markets. She is a member of the Mexico Private Capital Association (AMEXCAP) and she recently attended the 5th Annual Latin American Finance Cumbre as an invited guest in Mexico City. Dyana has numerous contacts within Central Banks in Latin America as well as throughout the Mexican private capital community.
